Kathy Hannan, is a NY state licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and a member of the American Dance Therapy Association(ADTA). She earned her Master's degree from Pratt Institute in 2003.  Her undergraduate study was completed at Molloy College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology.  She has worked in such settings as schools, psychiatric in-patient and outpatient settings, enrichment programs, physical rehabilitation units, and seinor assisted living. She has experience with all ages ranging from nursery school to geriatric. She is also a certified PACE instructor(People with Arthritis Can Exercise). She has presented several demonstrations for the Arthitis Foundation Long Island chapter.


In addition to her scholastic studies Kathy has also studied dance for several years studying with such schools as  Devore Dance Center, Hofstra University, and June Claire Dance. She has studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, and African.  She has worked and taught at a few different schools. Her choreography has been used in talent shows, schools, shows, and workshops. She has taught several dance classes for the Town of Huntington teaching ballet hip hop, jazz.

She also enjoys working birthday parties and other celebrations for boys and girls using a variety of music, movement, props, and favors.
